Why Metro Arts?
I knew from the beginning that I wanted to use my psychology degree to work with kids. I have dyslexia and help kids to understand their frustration and overcome the academic and social conflicts that it can create. Metro honors the authenticity of the individual and has healthy avenues for coping with life. The school helps with the development of the self, identity, and what that means, and provides a safety net to explore it.
