Quarter 2 Update from Metro Arts

Metro Arts continues to be committed to the health and safety of all students and staff. Therefore, our Governing Board has decided to stay online with virtual learning for the Second Quarter. Our decision was determined by guidance provided by the CDC and the Governor's office.

7/15/20 Metro Arts School Update

7-15-20

Good Afternoon, Students and Families,

We hope this message finds you safe and healthy. We wanted to provide you with a brief update for beginning school at Metro.

Earlier today, the Governor met with educational leaders, and the Arizona Department of Education also provided schools with an overview of guidelines. We are still expecting further guidance from the State as we finalize our plans.

Although we had planned on communicating full details today, we are incorporating today’s recent updates from the State into our plans.

We look forward to providing you with a full update tomorrow.

Thank you for your support.

Respectfully,

Metropolitan Arts Institute Administration

Matt Baker, Head of School
Jenny Quinn, Student Services & Academics
Betsy Rosenmiller, Finance
Lisa Starry, Operations
John Perovich, Admissions and Student Life

Congratulation to Metro Arts 2020 graduate Savannah Perez who was featured in an Arizona Republic article celebrating Arizona's high school graduates.

Savannah Perez is graduating from the Metropolitan Arts Institute in Phoenix and looks forward to sharing her art with the world as she gets a degree from ASU in graphic design. She is dedicating her graduation to her grandfather, Bacilio Reyes, who recently died.

“She has worked so hard and we are celebrating in every way we know how,” her mom, Cecilia Valles, said.
