Metro Arts Dance Teacher Nicole Olson choreographs and performs at the Canal Convergence 2018 Nicole Olson was selected to choreograph several dances that will occur over the space of two weekends. The dancers will interact with the large scale public art installations that are the main focus of the event.
Staphany Olalde (11th Grade) - 1st place winner of the National Society of Arts and Letters Modern Dance Scholarship Competition This annual competition is to celebrate young dance artists and their love for modern dance. Miss Olalde performed a self-choreographed solo piece titled “Begin Again”. We are so proud of her accomplishment!

Metro Arts Dancers perform at the Phoenix Art Museum On Sunday, the Metro Arts Dancers, accompanied by Dance teacher Nicole Olson, performed 2 pieces in the Chase Lobby and Great Hall of the Phx Art Museum. The performances were part of the Free Family Second Sundays in 2016! Family Days are designed for families to spend quality time together playing, learning, stimulating their minds, and connecting with Phoenix Art Museum’s collection and exhibitions.
