Peace Day is celebrated Internationally on September 21 each year to recognize the efforts of those who have worked hard to end conflict and promote peace

Metro Arts celebrated Peace Day on Friday, September 20th.

Congratulations to Monet Alvaraz on her award. The U.S. Figure Skating Graduating Seniors Award recognizes the hard work of student athletes who have participated in figure skating throughout high school; awards are given at the Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze level based off a skater’s level of competitive achievement in high school. Selection for this award speaks to a skater’s continued commitment to succeeding in their athletic and academic endeavors.

Please join us for the Metropolitan Arts Institute's annual Spring Dance Concert. This wonderful event, which takes place at the Phoenix Theatre/Hardes Theatre in downtown Phoenix, features works created and performed by Metro Art's amazing dance department. February 20-22 at 7pm.

This year's exhibit features a stunning collection of over 170 pieces of original art for sale, all priced $300 or less, as well as live dance performances at 7 and 8 PM. Our own Visual Arts teacher, Sonia Payan will have two artworks up, and Performing Arts teacher, Nicole Olsen will be performing!

Nicole Olson will choreograph and perform two completely different dances on two separate dates during the canal convergence. Don't miss these two exciting performances.
