14 Metro staff members got together in the art room for a July screen printing workshop by Metro arts teacher Seth Kasselman. Everyone had a great time catching up with each other and learning a new skill.

All the high school students and teachers form a long tunnel to welcome the 8th graders into the High School. The students run through the tunnel while everyone cheers and welcomes them as next years 9th graders and newly minted High School students.

Metropolitan Arts Institute Junior, Saragrace Palumbo, was one of only two high school students in the nation selected from a wide variety of applicants to complete a 5-week internship in Woods Hole, Massachusetts this summer. The internship is through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Woods Hole Science Aquarium on Cape Cod.
