Description

This class aims to enhance each student’s foundation in the Spanish language and to attain a deeper understanding of the Hispanic/Latino culture through engagement, activities, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students will be able to communicate and understand the language for a variety of purposes, acquire a more advanced vocabulary and grammar in the subject matter and skills that will allow them to make connections between their everyday lives and that of others. A key to their acquisition of the language will be through cultural sensitivity, awareness and appreciation of the local and international Hispanic/Latino populations through exposure, art, literature, historic events, and language. Additionally, our class has three mission statements:  mine, yours, and ours.

Final Project: Final Video/Skit

Students will either perform or show their video in class. Any skit preformed after the due date will be considered late. A final script must be presented with the skit or video on the day of submission.

All video submissions must be submitted on a USB drive or can be posted on youtube or vimeo. 

****If the video cannot be played in class or is faulty in any way that prevents the class from viewing the video the project will be considered late.****
