Metro students Shelly Ortiz, Nina Nandin, and Hannah Hood won 1st Prize in the High School West Division for their documentary, Diagnosing the Problem in C-SPAN’s 2014 StudentCam competition.
The winners of the 2014 StudentCam competition were announced March 5th during C-SPAN’s morning call-in program, Washington Journal, at 7:45am ET.
Their documentary will air on C-SPAN at 6:50am ET on April 28th. All winning entries can be seen on the C-Span website, www.studentcam.org.
In addition to a $3000 prize for the students, the film department will also receive $500 to spend on digital equipment.
