A Tuition-Free Charter School PERFORMING ARTS . VISUAL ARTS . ACADEMICS college prep Grades 7 - 12 The Metropolitan Arts Institute is a college preparatory and tuition free charter arts school. We consider the artistic, emotional and moral growth of each student equal in importance to academic excellence and achievement. Ideally, in striving to develop excellence, students learn to find the inspiration and confidence that lies in the creative process itself. We encourage you to consider becoming a part of the Metro Arts Family. We will begin accepting applications for 2011 | 2012 enrollment starting September 1st. School tours are required for all applying students - see our schedule for upcoming tour dates. Upcoming DROP-IN GROUP SCHOOL Tours for August 2012 Enrollment All tours listed below occur on Wednesdays at 3:15pm: January 18 February 8 February 29 March 28 April 11 April 25 May 16 Metro-Arts enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year is officially closed and we are no longer accepting applications. We are now taking applications for the 2012-2013 school year. We thank you for your interest and look forward to seeing you at a tour in the fall. Open House Tours are open to the public for interested students and their parents. No appointments needed. Please enter the center staircase or elevator and press the visitor button.
