Description
The goal of Earth and Space Systems Science is to introduce students to the scientific theories and practices that are foundational to building an understanding of our planet's place in the universe, its history, and the systems that determine its weather, climate, and physical features.  We will explore the hydrosphere, geosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, and the impacts humans are having in each of these spheres. We will investigate both challenges and solutions for current issues in Earth and Space Science Systems.

Homework for ESS Students - Field Trip to the Fair Instructions
 
1. Come to office hours on Thursday, October 24th, or Friday, October 25th to pick up the guided notes package and Crash Course Intro to the Solar System handouts.
2. Fill in the notes using the attached pdf called TW Solar System Notes.
3. Complete the cue questions, summary, and your basic diagram of the solar system including the sun, the 8 planets, the asteroid belt, dwarf planet Pluto, the Kuiper Belt, and the Oort Cloud. 
4. Watch the Crash Course Astronomy #9 and fill in the answers on your sheet. 
5. Bring this all in on Monday to receive your marks. :-)

5. Work through the simulations and type your answers into your document.
