SUPPORT METRO Metropolitan Arts Institute was founded in 1998, and has experienced over a decade years of very successful growth. The school is now ready to embark on its next phase of development. Metro Arts’ mission is to connect with the larger arts community. In our building on 7th Avenue and McDowell we have created several venues for the public to experience both student and professional performances. These venues include a professional theater space for concerts and plays, and a dance studio. All of these venues are non-profit aspects of the Metro Arts mission. They provide students with the opportunity to apprentice with professional technicians and artists before they enter college or work in these fields. Your support is needed to help equip these venues with the professional grade equipment that will give our students and the public the best experience we can provide. Our goal continues to be an integration of the professional arts community and our student community. This will provide the real world experience that young talent needs in order to understand how to both survive and thrive as a performer and artist in the larger world.

The best way to help us reach our goal is to give to The Metro Arts Annual Tax Credit Fund. The tax credit fund is our yearly fundraising vehicle. Monies gathered through this state run program will be used to continue the excellent quality of instruction we have already built as well as expand our extra curricular activities.


Please give to the Metro Arts Tax Credit Fund. The money you donate is taken right off the top of the Arizona State Income Tax you pay each year, so the actual cost to you is only the price of the stamp you use to send us the check.
